A "Moving Encylopedia" of Indian philosophy and religious texts, HIS Holiness Shree Shree Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji, has been a promoter and teacher of non-voilence. For him religion is a tremendous source of knowledge which can be used positively to overcome violence or terrorism. Religion, HIS Holiness, says has a clear vision and can show path for world peace. Besides being a leader of ancient Hindu philosophy, HIS Holiness has taken up the much needed mission-ecology and environment protection, as a part of His ascetic life. HIS Holiness's lectures and articles in Kannada and English are very famous through his Suguna digest, a monthly publication running through more than 20 years.

In addition to the multifarious activities, HIS Holiness is the International President of World Conference of Religions for Peace (WCRP), New York. HIS Holiness has been constantly delivering inspiring and enlightening discourses across the world to propogate universal brotherhood, world peace and is also considered the first Indian traditional Swamiji to have crossed the oceans to propogate Indian philosophy and world peace. HIS Holiness has travelled USA, Russia, Canada, Spain, Germany, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Behrain, Philippines, Japan, Turkey, Kenya and many other countries. He has met President George Bush,President Putin, Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev, King of Jordan, Archbishop of Canterbury and many other eminent world leaders.

Being a Hindu spiritual leader and torch bearer of Dvaita School of Philosophy, an harbinger of world peace from India, HIS Holiness is the 30th pontiff in the 750 year old illustrious and everlasting Indian Vedic traditional lineage of Jagadguru Shree Madhwaachaarya who profounded the Dvaita School of philosophy in the 12th century A.D. Recently HIS Holiness finished HIS third Paryaya in a grand manner. During Paryaya, HIS Holiness has finished many big development activities in Udupi including a Gita Mandir, which is a testimony to his dedication and dynamisim. He has also established Goverdhan Kshetra in Bengaluru, Karnataka along with 33 other branches in India and three centers in USA.
