Currently, he is a faculty in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. His conducts research in Systems Biology focusing on Leukemia, inflammation, prostate cancer, and coordination of the Heart-Brain interaction. His also the Director of Case Complex Systems Biology Center, and, a recipient of the US NIH Research Career award. He is the Co-Director of UNESCO GENIe (Global Problematique Educational Research Initiative) Program - an international network of educational institutions. He consults with many developing countries on issues of water, energy and policy development. He has received the best undergraduate teaching award at Case Western. He has lectured in more than 20 countries.
Director, Vedic Math Academy:
Prof. Sreenath’s interest in Vedic Math dates back more than 20 years. Over the last ten years he has developed the VM materials to teach young children. To date more than 300 children have used this material. For three years he taught VM commercially through Vedic Math Academy (VMA) which he founded in 2001 using a "Kumon" format - i.e., students show up at the center for a one-on-one session, work for 15-30 min with the instructor and take home worksheets. Dr. C. L. Prabhakar
- Dr. C. L. Prabhakar is a Vedic scholar. He hails from Bangalore . He obtained his Masters Degree in Sanskrit from Dharwad University and Ph.D. for his thesis on 'Sukla Yajur Veda' from Poona University . He has over thirty years of teaching experience as a Professor and has published more than 300 research papers. He has also authored three books:
- 1. Sukla Yajur Veda (Vol. I to IV)
- 2. Tapo Anustana Manjari: A compendium of Vedic Mantras for Daily Worship
- 3. Soundarya Lahari Prayoga Yoga: A Manual
- He is also the Chief Editor of the monthly bulletin "Veda Nada Sarit" and the Annual Journal "Veda Ganga", all published by the Veda Sruti Publications.
- He has served as Faculty and Head of the Sanskrit Department, National College . He is now an Adjunct Professor of Vedas at Hindu University , USA . As the Director of Nada Veda Adhyayana Kendra and President of Bangalore chapter of WAVES (USA), he is actively engaged in spreading the message of the Vedas to communities in India and USA .
