Rules and Guidelines:

  • Signup is now closed for AKKA Dance Idol.
  • Thank you all for registering.
  • Prospective contestants please wait for further information regarding final competition format, dates and times.
  • A group consists of 4 - 10 people within the age category.
  • All songs - including instrumental music - should be in Kannada or Sanskrit
  • You should adhere to the style of the dance mentioned in the signup form.
  • You will be informed if your entry has been selected to compete in the Quarter Finals by July 31st, 2014.
  • There will be 3 rounds once you arrive at the convention and each of which will be an elimination round. Each round will be more challenging compared to its previous ones.
    • Round 1: Quarter Finals
    • Round 2: Semi Finals
    • Round 3: Finals
  • AKKA WKC 2014 registration is mandatory to compete starting from Quarter Finals.
  • Please plan to be present at the convention center in the morning of Aug 29th 2014 for Quarter Finals and Semi Finals.
