PROCESSION
As part of the festivities of WKC 2006, it is proposed to organize a traditional Meravanige (parade or procession) which will comprise of teams from various Kannada kootas depicting the cultural heritage of the various districts of Karnataka. This Meravanige would form a central element of the inauguration of WKC 2006.

Each Kannada Associations of USA and Canada is going to represent a specific district in Karnataka.

Brindavana Karnataka Cultural Organization

Karnataka Cultural Organization - Brindavana is a New Jersey based charitable, non-profit, cultural organization formed in 2004 representing people originating from Karnataka or exhibiting an interest in the language of Kannada and the traditions and culture of Karnataka.

The name Karnataka Cultural Organization BRINDAVANA represents the cultural heritage of the members and the state of New Jersey (Garden State).
