AKKA's Objectives for Charity Work:

AKKA would like to bring together awareness of Individuals and Organizations who have taken up development projects, school projects, village adoption projects, hospital development projects, scholarships for poor students, development of Hostel for poor students, providing computer hardware to schools, establishing auditoriums in schools, providing books for libraries, contributing to Charitable work in Karnataka state.

Benefits:

These might motivate other Kannadigas who wants to do similar kind of projects in Karnataka State.

This will give opportunity for us to approach Non-Profit funding from different agencies in USA for this type of work and distributing the money for projects in Karnataka State.

It is providing basic needs for the people. Taken up infra structure
development of Kamasandra village in all areas such as Education, Healthcare
and Civic amenities.

Mrs. Rajanna's moto is " If every Kanandiga who is residing abroad can
provide help and do the same things in their village or a village, growth in
those villages will be easier in these aspects."

Objectives:

Details: Satkaryaâ , an organization dedicated to the support of noble deeds, was formed in 1996. The mission of Satkaryaâ is to support educational, medical, religious and cultural activities. By the grace of
God, we successfully completed our five years in operation. We accomplished a lot within this short span of time and now, we are even more determined to continue our Satkaryas in the upcoming years.

VIDYRANYA KANNADA KUTA, ILLNOIS

It has set up a Charitable Fund in the Association and it has so far given about $50,000.00 towards Charitable works in Karnataka State.

KANNADA KOOTA OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA-KKNC

It has raised Funds for several Charitable events. Recently on March 24, 2002 they raised about $ 15, 000 for Pu Thi Na Foundation.


B. M. S. COLLEGE of ENGINEERING ALUMNI ASSOCIATION of AMERICA "BMSCE-AAA"

It has instituted 15 Scholarships for students on Merit cum Means selection method.
